Our Experience - Why we help

I experienced a short sale of our home during the housing crash of 2008. I worked in a real estate office at the time and was laid off. It was an emotional time and I just wanted to leave the event behind me. I was 7 months pregnant, no job and forced to move during the holidays. (True story!) I felt embarrassed of the situation even though there was a perfectly logical explanation. With my husband’s support, we made the move and started over.
